2-Legged Chihuahuas Are Famous
Sonny and Maddie are two famous 2-legged Chihuahuas and their story has gone viral! The Huffington Post picked up their story which helped spread the love all across the world. Never in my wildest dreams did I think people from all over the United States would watch these two cute little disabled Chihuahuas hop and roll into lives of animal lovers, fellow rescuers and proud supporters.
And never did I think I’d have a 2-legged Chihuahua as a pet but I’m oh so glad I do. He’s a doll and he fits right in with my pack.

Before Sonny hopped into my life, I was more of a ‘pit bull’ type of girl. I gravitated towards larger dogs, dogs with substance, oomph and presence. My bullies are great cuddle buddies, make me laugh and help me feel me safe. They join me when I go camping and hiking, when I ride my bike and run with me when I roller blade (figuring how to get Sonny to be able to join us on these outdoor excursions is going to take some creativity.) That should be interesting…
Just the short time Sonny’s been with us, he’s become a pro at cuddling, with me, the cats and EVEN the dogs. His infectious, happy attitude and youthful spirit has brought joy to anyone he meets.
What Sonny lacks in size, weigh and muscle, he makes up for in personality.
