Beginning on Monday, October 12, 2026, sit-stay-play In-home pet sitting & more.inc is launching our cat boarding division – aptly named, Muncie Meows.
Muncie Meows is conveniently located inside our grooming salon so in the event your kitty has a potty accident during their stay, we can care for them appropriately.
You can also add on services like brushing, grooming, ear cleaning, potty patch/sanitary grooms or mat removal during their stay.
Each cat gets a complimentary nail trim during their cat boarding stay with us!
Muncie Meows Policies
$50 deposit per cat is required to reserve your spot.
The deposit becomes a credit to your account or will be kept if you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation.
- Rates are $25 per 24-hour stay
- Half-day rate (up to 12 hours) is $15
- 10% discount for multiple cats per stay
- 10% discount for Ball State and Ivy Tech students
- 10% discount for stays over 7 days
- Cats must be current on rabies, FVRCP and core vaccines
- Vaccines must be given at least 14 days prior to their stay
- Vaccines cannot lapse during their stay
- Cats must be flea free and will be checked when they arrive for boarding. If they have fleas your reservation will be cancelled
- At drop-off, cats cannot show any sign of respiratory issues such as runny eyes, sneezing or coughing (unless your veterinarian provides records showing cause). If they do, your reservation is cancelled and your cat can’t stay with us
- Holiday periods are $5 extra per day
- One discount per family per stay
Why the Half-Day Rate?
We offer half-day options for people that may just need their kitty out of their house/car for a shorter period of time.
Reasons for the Half-Day Rate Include:
- Moving (You don’t want kitty escaping while you’re moving in/out)
- Repair people coming (You want kitty safe and not escaping)
- Painters (You don’t want kitty smelling paint all day)
- Guests with cat allergies
- Stress when visitors come over
- Car Dwellers/Campers that want a warm spot for their cat while they work during the day/night
Playtime During Their Stay
We have lots of interactive cat toys, cat scratchers, cat towers and cat TV for their enjoyment.
Plus, we have bird feeders on the window which brings enrichment and we allow free play once or twice a day in the boarding room.
Our Kitty Techs will monitor all free play and will encourage playtime. We’ll pet and love on your cat while they stay with us to help them stay relaxed.
24/7 Recorded Video Monitoring
The cat boarding and grooming room is under 24-hour video recording.
When we aren’t in the boarding area, we monitor our cameras remotely and can head back to the building pretty quickly if needed.
