I guess you could say watching Sonny roll around making a loop-de-loop weird, I call it…cute and funny.
Watching him run and bump into things (and tip over head first sometimes) is even more funny. Good thing he has a sense of humor!
Seeing Sonny experience the world more as a ‘normal’ dog is an awesome feeling. Watching his tongue hang out of his mouth while he’s running at top speed brings a smile to my face. Getting to help bring happiness to this little disabled dog is a gift and watching his tail wag could be weird I suppose. I call it adorable and inspiring.
Every time this 2-legged guy is in his wheelchair he gets a little better at controlling the turns and the speed in which he moves. He knows when to slow down and when he can make an all out sprint. When he gets stuck under a table or piano bench, he’s learning how to back up or inch forward and rotate the wheels. Pretty smart for a 6-month old Chihuahua!!
