Informational Videos About Our Services

Welcome To Our Website!

In this video you’ll see me, Kelley Stewart, the owner of sit-stay-play. I go over our what we offer, how the business started and talk about staffing. This is a good video to watch if you haven’t booked services yet but are curious about what we offer and what we do.

Pet Sitting In Muncie, Indiana

This video from 2010 has catchy music and great clips of many of our clients. We had only been in business two years when I made this video but we had many regular clients and were steadily gaining more.

Virtual Consultation for Pet Sitting Services

Before we agree to complete any pet care service, a consultation is scheduled. This gives us time to meet and time for your pet to get to know us. You’ll learn what types of forms we fill out during your consultation and why the forms are needed.

Muncie Pet Sitter Rollerblading With Ruby The Dog

Did you know you can hire us to rollerblade with your dog? Yep, you can! But, your dog must walk really good on leash and know basic obedience. In this 2012 video I actually record myself rollerblading with Ruby, one of our clients. Don’t worry – it was a quiet country road and no one was in harm’s way 🙂

Muncie Pet Sitter Caring For Chinchillas

It’s not just dogs and cats that need our help – chinchillas need pet sitting as well. These two babies were really friendly and spoiled. If you have chinchillas, pocket pets or other small caged pet, call us, we can take care of them so you don’t have to worry about them while you’re gone.

Pet Care Policies

Why Do We Need Two House Keys When Doing Pet Care Jobs?

Our pet sitters need to be able to get into your home quickly and easily. Having two keys, one for us to use and one for our key safe, is extremely important. This video will be updated soon because effective today, May 21, 2017, we will no longer accept garage door openers or key fobs.

Pet Care Tips

Dog Peeing + Marking Constantly While On Leash = Frustration

I did a question and answer session on YouTube and this video addressed a couple questions at once. If you have a dog, either male or female, that wants to stop and pee all the time when you go out for a walk, there might be underlying reasons for the behavior. Watch the video to learn more.

11 Dog Walking Tips By Muncie Pet Sitter

Does your dog pull on the leash? Do you feel like he’s going to pull your shoulder out of socket? This video from 2014 is for you! I give you specific things you can try which will probably help your dog behave better. If you try these tips, post a comment on the YouTube video, I’d love to hear how your dog improved.

Hiring Someone To Board Your Pet In Their Home? Ask This Question First

There are several ways to find someone to take care of your pet. If you want someone to BOARD your pet in their home and you find a caregiver through Facebook, Rover, Craigslist or other app, please, I’ll say it again, PLEASE ask the question I highlight in the video. Actually there’s several questions you should ask but this one is key.

An Important Question To Ask Your Pet Sitter Or Dog Walker

Think just anyone can watch pets? Think again. Not everyone has the necessary skills to watch pets (and run a business) effectively. Sure, the 10 year old neighbor kid can stop by and take Fido out for a walk, but what happens if your dog has an emergency? The 10 year old can’t drive and who knows if their parents will want to get involved with helping your dog…watch this video and get a different perspective on who should watch your pet.

Examples of Dog Training Hand Signals

Does your dog walk good on leash? Why not add hand signals to the mix? In this video I go over 5 dog training hand signals I use when I train dogs (and walk them). Watch this if you’re wanting to possibly add something simple as a command for wait/stop, sit or lay down. Teaching hand signals is a great training tip in case you (or your dog) ever loses hearing.

Funny Videos of Some of Our Clients

Pet Sitting Goofy Golden Retriever, Jackson

This beautiful boy from Ohio was only in Muncie for 6 months while his dad did an internship. Luckily, I walked him 3 times a week for that entire 6 months! Needless to say I got pretty attached to this fella and saw him go from an obnoxious puppy with no leash manners to a milder young dog with a touch of obnoxiousness, lol 🙂

Dog Walking Diva (Dude) With Muncie Pet Sitter

Goodness…this popular song by Robin Thicke went perfectly for this video, don’t you think? If you haven’t watched it yet, do it, do it now! This diva (dude) had the head tilt down and even hiked his leg on cue.

Crated Dogs Get A Play And Potty Break

These two sweeties stay in a kennel while their mom works. I went over a few times a week to let them out and stretch their legs. Keeping a dog confined to a crate for extended periods of time can be avoidable if you work with a pet sitter. Call us if you’re tired of keeping your dogs crated all day.

Testimonials and Reviews from Our Clients

We have really great clients and I never take them for granted. They are kind to us and allow us to take care of their pet(s) when they have other options. This video just pulls together reviews and testimonials from Facebook and other places.

Holiday Pet Care

Our schedules fill up quickly during the holiday season, especially Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. We encourage you to book early if you want guaranteed service.

Giving Back – Fundraisers – Volunteering

Fundraiser For Ernie’s Heart Pet Food Pantry

Mermaid Pools and Spas in Anderson, Indiana was gracious and hosted a Christmas fundraiser for Ernie’s Heart. We were there doing free pet nail trims and had a blast and collected money and pet food…take a look!

Santa Paws Christmas Pictures

We hosted 3 Christmas events in 2016 and had Santa Paws on hand to greet everyone at the Tractor Supply stores. Part of the proceeds were given to Muncie Animal Care & Services.

Kelley Stewart Presents Pet Care To A Daisy Troop

Over the years I’ve done lots of volunteering and presenting about pet care. In this video I highlight what I’ll be talking about with the girls. Teaching young children how to interact and care for pets is extremely important. If you have a VBS group, daycare, Scout troop or after school group that could benefit from a guest speaker, let me know, I’d be happy to talk to you.

Crate Training Gone Wrong – Don’t Be This Type Of Pet Parent, Please

Imagine my surprise when I walk into a client consultation and see these dilapidated crates with dogs inside…this video was filmed almost 7 years ago and my eyes still well up with tears. I live with regret because I didn’t do more to help those dogs…
