Things We’ll Discuss at Meet & Greet


Phone Consultation

To get started, please send an email back with 3 or 4 dates and times that work best for a 15 minute phone consultation. We’ll see what works best with our schedule and contact you to set the phone consult up. Should you decide you want to go ahead and book pet care services, we’ll set up your Meet and Greet, this usually takes around 45 minutes.
Meet and Greet / Pet Care Visits / Gas Fee 

Meet and Greets outside of this area in Muncie(east of the bypass, north of SR 28, west of Nebo and south of highway 67/bypass) will be charged a gas/travel fee – current rate is $.80/mile on average but we may adjust that at your Meet and Greet. We’ll get your address during our phone consult and let you know the amount of your gas/travel fee plus the price of your visits. If you have a gas/travel fee, it will be added to every pet care visit plus the Meet and Greet. Please note: We ask that all Meet and Greets be scheduled during daylight hours for our safety and so we can see the yard, gate, enclosures and/or pasture if you have dogs or farm animals and to make sure things are secure. 

Covid Safety Due to covid safety guidelines, we require everyone that will be out where we conduct our meeting to wear a face mask/covering. Also, if anyone has a cold, fever, shortness of breath or other symptoms of covid to please reschedule the Meet and Greet. 

Things we’ll discuss and do at the Meet and Greet include:

  • We’ll Meet and Greet your pet(s)
  • We’ll allow your pet(s) to get comfortable with us
  • You’ll show us your pet(s) needs and routine
  • You’ll show us the location of important items in your home are located, i.e. furnace, circuit breaker, thermostat, restroom, pet hiding places (if applicable), cleaning supplies, trash, lights, etc.
  • We’ll complete pet care forms and service request
  • I’ll pick up two working house keys from you
  • I’ll collect complete payment and a $15 key processing fee
  • We’ll finalize your pet care services, dates and times

NOTE: If you decide to cancel your reservation after we’ve had our Meet and Greet and finalized our services, please be aware:

  1. We will deposit your payment and retain a $50 NON-REFUNDABLE CANCELLATION FEE;
  2. We will provide you with the difference of your initial payment, minus $50;
  3. You need to email us and arrange a time to bring all of the pet care forms (either incomplete or complete) I left during our Meet and Greet to our business location and I will give you back your house keys and your remaining balance at that time. 


Requesting Future Visits

Booking Future ServicesFill out our service request form. We’ll send a confirmation or let you know we’re unavailable within 48 hours. If you don’t receive an email from us please immediately. Requesting services on that form DOES NOT GUARANTEE SERVICES

Emergencies/Trip Extensions/Early Arrivals:  765-744-5688 

Cancellations: To cancel a Meet and Greet just send an email as soon as possible. We do have cancellation policies regarding our services and we’ll discuss this at your Meet and Greet. Refunds and credits are not issued for same day cancellations (unless it’s an emergency situation). 

Same Day Service Requests: $10 fee for same day service requests and Meet and Greets. 

Cigarette Usage in the Home: We cannot provide services in homes where cigarette smoking is permitted in the home unless there’s an air filtration system.

Visitors in the Home/Job Sharing While under contract with you for pet care services, we ask that you limit the amount of people with access to your home. This is for insurance purposes and for everyone’s safety and so we can be certain that your pet(s) are being cared for according to our contractual agreement.  Job sharing is only permitted if we discuss this during the consultation and you provide us the person’s name, email and telephone number (for insurance purposes). Also, we’ll have a Visitor Log form that the Visitor (cleaning person, handyman) or Job Sharing Helper will need to fill out each time they visit. This form allows us to know who was in the home, when and for what reason. ***Due to Covid, safety for pets and our pet care professionals, we prefer to not have anyone else (including cleaners and service/maintenance/construction people) in the home while we’re under contract with you. 
Also, if cleaners, service/maintenance/construction people fail to close doors, windows, crawl spaces, etc. and pet(s) escape, that will not be our responsibility but we’ll do everything we can to assist in locating pet(s).
