Holiday Pet Nail Trims At Muncie Tractor Supply

Holiday Pet Nail Trims At Muncie Tractor Supply

Who’s ready for snow, Thanksgiving and Christmas?

We’re not here at sit-stay-play but regardless of our level of preparedness, time and seasons don’t stop. All of this will be here before you know it so we’ve set our next pet nail trim event two weeks from today, just in time so your pet will have nicely trimmed nails before the holiday festivities begin!

If you don’t take your dog to the groomer to get prettified for the holidays, consider bringing him or her out to our pet nail trim clinic. Besides getting the nail trim, the socialization is GREAT for most dogs and he’ll think it’s awesome that he gets out of the house for a treat.

Muncie Animal Shelter

We welcome all pets, regardless of age, size, breed or ailment (as long as they won’t attack us or try to attack other people or pets in Tractor Supply, we’re good to go!) If by chance you bring a pet that we cannot work on, we’ll refer you to a local veterinarian that might be able to help you, so rest assured no matter what happens, your pet will be in good hands.

The cost is only $5.00 per pet. We ask that you sign in when you arrive because often we have a line of people waiting and we like to service people as quickly as possible.

Just a tip: Normally dogs should have their nails trimmed every 5-8 weeks unless they run on concrete (which helps them stay filed down). Keeping your dog nails short will help them stay comfortable and able to get around without injury. Once a dog’s nails get long and start curling under, it becomes VERY uncomfortable to walk. Some dogs get their nails stuck in blankets and rugs from their nails being long and the overgrown nails can grow into their pads. If this happens, usually a veterinarian will need to see your dog because it’s very painful and difficult to cut.

We host these clinics so everyone can keep up with this important pet duty. Please don’t let your pets nails get overgrown but if they do, feel free to bring your dog out to us. We’ll do our best to help them.

Also, we’re doing something else at this nail trim event. We’re having a Christmas Collection for the Muncie Animal Shelter!

We’re still lining up all the details for this but we want to give back to the shelter and say thanks for all they do for pets and people in our community. Here’s more information about the Christmas Collection.

Help us spread the word about our low-cost nail trim event. Share this on your facebook page, your Google+ page and any other social media outlet you use.
