Tuhey Pool went to the dogs at the Drool in the Pool event in Muncie, Indiana on Sept. 6, 2014.
Muncie Obedience Training Club hosted this family fun event for the second year in a row and we were on hand to talk to people about dogs, dog care and taking lots of pictures. Some of which you’ll see below.
Booths and pet-related businesses included: Muncie Obedience Training Club (host), Lucky Dog Salon (vendor), Animal Rescue Fund (vendor) and sit-stay-play In-home pet sitting & more.LLC (vendor).

This handsome fella was one of the first to stop by our booth and get his picture taken.
Several of our clients stopped by to visit, including Linda Darrall.
She’s holding Sonny, our little 2-legged Chihuahua who’s trying to squirm out of her arms!
This cutie patootie loved playing in the water.
He played really well with Sonny and even ran around with the Great Danes and German Shepherds.
Tequila was a super cool dog. Sonny had the hots for her and kept trying to go in the big pool with her. Silly boy!
This was Sonny’s first time being in a pool.
He was a little scared at first, which is totally out of character for him.
The little guy adjusted well and even chased other dogs while he was in the pool!
We removed the wheelchair and gave him some freedom.
People loved seeing him prance around and try to swim.
This gentleman enjoyed spending some time loving on Sonny (and Sonny enjoyed it!)

We love participating in pet-friendly events like this and encourage all pet parents to look for places to take your pet. Maybe an event like this isn’t your thing but Muncie is home to several organizations and pet businesses, like ours, that hosts events specifically for pets and their humans.
